I. What it is

Business Continuity is an approach to building and maintaining Organisational Resilience. The approach aims to ensure that the organisation can continue the delivery of key products and services at acceptable predefined levels following disruptive incidents.

It is a formal, thorough methodology that ensures sustainable results regarding Organisational Resilience. The approach is based on the processes described in the BCI Good Practice Guidelines and the standards provided in ISO 22301:2019. Resilience Reclaimed is formally accredited in working with Business Continuity.

Certificate Business Continuity

Developing a Business Continuity Programme is a comprehensive package that ensures that Organisational Resilience becomes part of business-as-usual. It also establishes systems that ensure sustainability and continuous improvement of the programme.

A Business Continuity Programme is highly adapted to the organisation and its operating environment, even if it is here presented as a ‘package’.

IV. Practicalities

The development of a full Business Continuity Programme asks for a significant commitment in time and resources. This is especially the case in the first year when the system is developed. After this set-up phase, maintenance and review activities will be needed on a regular basis.

Resilience Reclaimed recognises that much of the information collected is highly sensitive. The security of data and information is therefore very important. Measures that are taken for this are described in our ‘Data and Information Security Policy‘. This Policy can be made available to prospective clients.
