e. Strategic Foresight for Organisational Resilience

(Under Development)

Strategic Foresight for Organisational Resilience: a workshop designed to explore global and regional conditions and dynamics, consequences and exploration on how your organisation could be affected.

I. What it is

Strategic Foresight for Organisational Resilience is an activity designed to bridge the gap between large-scale global and regional trends and their potential implications on your organisation and its operational context. This activity delves into an array of key drivers (e.g., political, economic, cultural) and underlying conditions that interact with these (e.g. environment, demographics, energy, technology, trust, doctrines) and interprets how these conditions and dynamics coalesce.

Based on this, tentative forecasts can be made how national and local conditions could evolve. This can then be taken forward to review how this could affect organisations and the context they operate in.

While elements of Strategic Foresight for Organisational Resilience are integrated into the other packages, this activity takes a deeper and more systematic view.

The activity complements the other packages by placing the concept of Resilience in a wider perspective. This workshop challenges some of the more conventional perspectives and narratives.

III. Who it is for

Forward-thinking organisations looking to proactively position themselves in an ever-changing global and regional landscape.

It suits organisations that value strategic foresight and wish to translate larger trends into actionable business strategies.

From small organisations looking to navigate regional shifts to large corporations aiming to integrate global insights into strategic planning would likely find value in this activity.

It’s also a good fit for organisations involved in larger initiatives such as Horizon Scanning or Scenario Planning, where external expertise could add value.
